Ron with his dog Rex - don't mess around at the house on the corner of Wrensch Road and Nuttall Road. Ron regularly takes his dog walking in this area.

Sandra takes her dog, Kiko, for a walk three times a day. You can catch her in the doggy park on Arnold Street, where many of the dogs and their owners mingle after work on weekdays.

The Liesbeek River runs past Observatory. You can walk your dogs here, and have beautiful views of Table Mountain, while enjoying the flaura and fauna of this greenbelt area.
Devil's Peak, as seen from the Liesbeek River. Observatory lies between the mountain and the river. Some days you'll even find fishermen relaxing on the banks. Lots of water-birds can be found nesting here too.
This huge hospital on the edge of Observatory draws many visitors, with staff finding Observatory an ideal place to stay. The university of Cape Town has the hospital as part of their medical campus.
In Arnold Street, Observatory is a park for dogs. Around 17:00 on weekdays, the park starts filling up with dogs and their owners. This is a time to socialize and run around; for the owners too :-)
A park with swings and slides, grass and trees on Station Road, Observatory. The nannies have a regular meeting time here, when they bring all the children that are not school-going to interact and play.
On the edge of Observatory, overlooking the Liesbeek River is this huge office complex, a modern business centre with it's own restaurants and parking facilities.

Lower Main Road, Observatory has a variety of shops and restaurants. This is a book shop with some very rare finds; a definite visit if you read a lot.

Most of the houses in Observatory was built around the 1900's. This house's owner was a radio broadcaster...
